First things first. ArtLinks places graphic artists, web designers art directors, advertising, print and publishing specialists, copywriters, marketing directors.
In addition, ArtLinks is now placing IT specialists.
Registering at ArtLinks is free and begins when you e-mail us your resume. Please write "resume" in the subject line so that we can be sure to receive your email.

It is not essential to send your resume to anyone’s attention in particular. We all pitch in here, and we’ll review your resume as a team.
We are a ‘Mac office,’ so any attached files must be readable. Samples are most welcome but, unfortunately, cannot be returned. It takes us about a week or so to review all the resumes we receive.
THE APPOINTMENT
If we feel that your ‘skill-set’ and experience are a good match for some of the positions we typically place for, we will give you a call to set up an appointment here.
Please bring a fresh copy of your resume, your portfolio and any url’s that display your work online.
We have testing stations that, when appropriate, can be helpful in assessing your skill levels on a gamut of design and production applications. We do not release the test scores to anyone but you. The testing merely offers you a clearer sense of your skill set.
We’ve drawn a map and posted directions to ArtLinks - from just about anywhere - on the "How To Find Us" page. For those of you who will be taking public transportation, there are also links to BART, AC Transit and other public transit web sites.
If you are coming by car, there is usually always plenty of street parking. We’re on Fourth Street, between Page and Jones. The little parking lot directly out front, however, is reserved for tenants only.
A FEW LAST THINGS...
Regardless of your depth of talent or experience, we can not guarantee you placement. But rest assured we will be doing our best to connect you with some of the Bay Area’s top design firms, advertising agencies or businesses.
We will keep you current for six months. Feel free to check in with us – either by phone or e-mail – during that time to update us on your availability. And if you have completed any additional projects since you first contacted us, you may wish to update your resume and send us a new copy of it.
